Mike

Mike picked up his first camera to get a few extra credits in college. But quickly switched his focus from music to photography. For after his first photography class, there has not been a situation in his life that he did not want to document in an artistic way. From his time of living in his car up in the mountains to snowboard, to the day his kids were born, his camera has been a trusty friend by his side at all times.

Nathan started shooting weddings in 2006 after 4 years of intense photographic study. After learning everything from macro, landscape, to fine art disciplines. A friend asked for a wedding photography favor. The rest is history. He has shot, both in Vancouver, and the Greater Chicago area. Nathan claims to be an artist before a photographer, and loves to pre-visualize works of art for all of his brides and grooms. "Great images can be made anywhere, you just have to open your eyes, and see it in your head" Nathan also has a tendency to get very excited when he see's a shoot coming together. His enthusiasm is contagious, and is part of what makes a Brite Spot shoot so much fun.
